Managing Safely is a four day course for managers and supervisors from any sector and any organisation. It's designed to give managers the knowledge and tools to tackle and identify the health and safety issues they're responsible for and helps to ensure that health and safety is recognised as a core business function and fully integrated into business activity. The training which has been put together by Europe's leading professional body for Health and Safety, combines knowledge with practical activities which aids understanding of how health and safety systems apply in the work place.What will I learn?
The course is run over 4 days and covers 8 modules:- Module 1 - Introducing Managing Safely
- Module 2 - Assessing risks
- Module 3 - Controlling risks
- Module 4 - Understanding your responsibilities
- Module 5 - Identifying hazards
- Module 6 - Investigating accidents and incidents
- Module 7 - Measuring performance
- Module 8 - Protecting our environment
What qualifications will I achieve?
Delegates who successfully complete the written and practical assessments at the end of the course are awarded a nationally recognised IOSH Certificate in Managing Safely.
