Additional induction days for March taking place 24 – 28 February 2020
Together with the tutor, you will have the opportunity to explore various drawing, painting and basic printmaking techniques. We will look at the importance of the ‘visual elements’ (Line, Tone, Form, Shape, Space, Pattern, Texture), and how to use those to make exciting artworks, including –
- Contour drawing with graphite sticks and coloured pens
- Stamp design and polystyrene printing
- Oil pastel scraper art drawings
- Watercolour Hull landscape painting
RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance.
