The use of computer aided design (CAD) systems in industry has become an essential part of the modern working environment. CAD is used in a wide range of industries from engineering and construction to manufacturing.

This apprenticeship is designed to meet the needs of learners with a range of experience. You will have access to the latest equipment and industry standard software enabling you to get the most out of the latest CAD design technology to produce and edit three dimensional models, assemblies and drawings.

• Creation & modification of parametric models
• Modelling techniques
• Modelling analysis methods
• Visualisation of product & environment
• Assembly techniques

The programme will include mandatory requirements of the Apprenticeship framework; an NVQ, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT.

To enrol on this apprenticeship, you need to be aged 16 and over, ideally have GCSEs at
Grades A*- G (preferably English, Maths and IT)

You will be required to complete an entry assessment and interview.

We work with a large number of partner organisations who can provide employment as part of our apprenticeships. During the interview you will be able to find out more on how we can help and support you in finding employment.

Completing this apprenticeship can lead to further qualifications including trade specific construction specialist qualifications at Level 3, Employment or Higher Qualifications.
