Creative Crafts (ALDD)

Aims of the course:

On this course you will learn and develop a range of skills required to create a variety of crafts projects.

What is the course about?

This class offers a variety of arts and crafts projects designed for learners with disabilities. The projects are organised to suit individual needs.

Arts and crafts can help overcome life’s challenges.  Building your confidence levels can help you to live a fun-filled life and give you an opportunity to express yourself.

The skills you learn will give you the inspiration to try and create your own special arts and crafts at home.

The tutor will demonstrate the basic skills and techniques which will enable learners at beginner and intermediate levels to achieve rewarding and impressive end results.

What do we expect from you?

Regular attendance is essential for your progression.

On the induction your tutor will discuss the resources that you will be required to bring to the course.

Recognising and recording your progress and achievement

As with all learning it is important for you to know how you are progressing.

Your learning on this course will be recorded through the individual learning goals that you agree and set with your tutor at the beginning of each course.

This will allow you to see, as you work towards those learning goals, how well you are learning, what you have achieved, and how you have progressed during the course.

You may also discuss what you would like to progress on to after the course to further your learning or career.
