Digital Photography – Improvers

Introductory overview of the course

Do you have a digital camera and have mastered the basics would you like to develop your skills further and learn what else you can do? Our Improvers course will build on your basic knowledge and develop your skills further to take even better photographs. Unravel the mystery of the histogram and its benefits. Photograph genres including portrait, landscape, action, still life and reportage are covered.

Who is this course for?

This is part of our suite of ‘Community Learning’ courses which are designed to promote skills, increase confidence and be part of a community of like-minded people. This course is for anyone wanting to gain some skills and would like to interact with other people on a regular basis.

Entry Requirements

People who have the basic knowledge and would like to improve – may have attended the Digital Photography Beginners course.

What can I do after the course?

A range of courses are available to continue to develop employability skills and confidence including arts/crafts, languages (qualifications) and accredited programmes in Maths, English and IT
