Course Aims
If you have some basic skills in computing but wish to learn more, or improve, then this six-week, classroom-based course is the right course for you.

Course Content
Have you been using a computer, or a mobile phone, to do a few things but find the idea of doing a bit more a little daunting?
During this six-week course you will learn about:
- Using the Internet safely
- Emailing attachments
- Creating and formatting a document
- Entering data into a spreadsheet
Assessment Method
Course delivery will include a combination of structured learning materials and face-to-face delivery with the opportunity to use our online systems for support. Each unit is assessed through the completion of skills and knowledge as you progress.
Where can it lead?
The next level for IT is the Essential Digital Skills – Entry Level 3 course
The more computer skills you have, the more confidence you will gain to research and obtain information for household and leisure activities, volunteering opportunities or even employment, if desired.
