This classroom-based course is designed for improver learners that have attended the beginners guitar course and would now like to explore the electric guitar techniques.

Some of the techniques that will be covered are:
- Getting a great guitar tone with your amplifier (how it works)
- Playing lead guitar (Pentatonic & Major scales)
- Performing Blues improvisations (Jamming)
- Iconic guitar riffs and solos
- Picking and improving speed and fluidity
- Group performance
The curriculum is class led, the tutor will take requests of songs and techniques at the beginning of the term and implement these into the course content.
Where can it lead?
We hope that this course will help you develop your skills and confidence to start playing the guitar in public, be it at local jam nights, playing in a band or even recording your own songs.
