Course aims

This course offers you a stepping stone to our engineering apprenticeships and will give you an insight into the different types of engineering you would like to progress on to.

Entry requirements

Candidates must be aged 16 or over and should have a minimum:

• GCSE grade E or 2 in Maths and English

Course units

We have experience tutors who have industry experience and they will work introduce you to practical and theory sessions on:

• Electrical
• Fabrication and welding
• Manufacturing
• Machining
• Mechanical

You will also help you to get work ready by providing you with employability skills and will support you to gain Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English.

What qualification will I achieve?

EAL Level 2 Diploma in Engineering and Technology (QCF)
