Did home learning during lockdown feel overwhelming?
Many schools are still using online resources and virtual learning environments to set work for children, and this course will help you get to grips with new technologies, apps and programmes to help your children achieve their best.
- Virtual learning environments (Google Classroom etc)
- Common Microsoft Office packages
- Popular apps and programmes used in schools
- Tools to support learning at home
During the course we will also consider how the school curriculum has changed and how modern tools are used in the classroom to support English and maths
This is a non-accredited course, and as such assessment will be linked to targets set with your tutor to ensure you get what you need from the classroom sessions.
Where can it lead?
Digital skills are essential in the world today, and although this course does not link specifically to any careers, what you learn will give you more confidence and help with any job or volunteering role.
If you’re looking to improve your English or maths skills, why not consider joining one of our Functional Skills classes?
