Course Aims

The aim of this workshop is to use a range of mixed medias, using hot glue, dried natural materials, recycled glass jars and pine branches to create beautiful centre pieces that you can display and use with pride during the upcoming festive season.

Course Content

During this workshop you will create a table centre piece as a group. You will used mixed media, hot glue, dried natural materials, recycled glass jars and pine branches to create beautiful centre pieces.

We will have materials for you to use, but please bring along glass jars of varying sizes and any other materials, ribbons, decorations that you would like to use to personalise your centre piece.

Assessment Method

This course uses RARPA as its method of assessment.

RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five-stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance.
