This apprenticeship is aimed at school leavers aged 16-18 years, who wish to work in the Food and Beverage industry.
It will provide an opportunity to demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed for a career in this ever changing industry.
Throughout your training programme you will carry out practical exercises to show that you can meet the requirements of national standards. Training is truly based in a working environment, and is tailored to the specific needs of the job role.
You will learn:
• Food service and customer care skills
• Health & Safety at work
• Holding and serving food
• Payment and serving drinks
• Food storage
• Providing table/tray or counter service
It also provides transferable skills that will be needed throughout a working life.

Ability to complete an entry assessment and interview.
We work with a large number of partner organisations who can provide employment as part of our apprenticeships. During the interview you will be able to find out more on how we can help and support you in finding employment.
On completion of the Apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship programme or employment. This could then lead to further qualifications such as NVQ Level 4, HNC or a degree.
