Some of the UK’s leading holiday home manufacturers operate within the Humber region manufacturing static caravan, holiday park homes and touring caravans.

 

In partnership with local employers we offer industry specific training programme which will enable you to gain a range of skills and knowledge required for a role within this sector.

The course is a mix of theory work and practical hands on training in our industry standard workshops.

This apprenticeship in manufacturing provides the best possible preparation to achieving trainee operator / semi skilled status within the industry.

You will learn:

• Performing manufacturing operations
• Manufacturing processes and joinery skills
• Practical Models
• Theoretical Models

The programme will include mandatory requirements of the Apprenticeship framework; an NVQ, Technical Certificate and Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT.

To enrol on this apprenticeship, you need to be aged 16 and over, ideally have GCSEs at

Grades A*- G (preferably English, Maths and IT)

 

You will be required to complete an entry assessment and interview.

 

We work with a large number of partner organisations who can provide employment as part of our apprenticeships. During the interview you will be able to find out more on how we can help and support you in finding employment.

On completion of the Apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to progress onto the Advanced Apprenticeship programme or employment. This could then lead to further qualifications such as NVQ Level 4, HNC or a degree.
