Course aim

Do you have a skill or specialist knowledge that you would like to pass on to others? 

Do you think you could pass those skills and knowledge on to others?

This workshop is open to anyone who would like to know more about how to develop those teaching skills. It’s for anyone who wants to take a step towards further training or for their own personal or professional development. 

The workshop will help you decide if teaching and training adults is for you in the future. 

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements, everyone over the age of 19 is able to join, although a skill or subject you think you might like to teach would help as a basis for initial discussion

Course content

What is involved in teaching and training adults and where do I start if I think it’s for me. 

How can I use the skills I have already do develop as an adult tutor. 

A short overview that looks at key teaching skills, the skills people already have and how they might develop a teaching approach to those skills.
