Course Content

We will look at the underpinning principles and techniques that surround mindful photography and participate in breathing exercises before experimenting in taking your own mindful images. We will look at how focusing on capturing the moment as an image can help us to channel our thoughts, enabling us to live in the moment with the aim of using a practical skill to reduce anxiety and control our conscious thought streams.

You will be supported though Google Classroom-based practical teaching as well as Google Classroom access allowing you to access your coursework at any time.

Assessment Method

This course is assessed through RARPA and non-accredited.

RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance.

You will receive guidance and support identifying and setting targets along your learning journey and can expect on-going tutor support and feedback to help you to achieve your aims.

Where can it lead?
