Overview of the course
From fashion design to book illustration, printmaking has an abundance of different applications in industry. This free workshop is your opportunity to explore the world of lino printing, and to create your own hand-printed designs. As well as to be framed or gifted these designs could be printed on a huge variety of different surfaces, such as cards and stationary or textile materials and clothing, and together we will explore the diversity and importance of printmaking in our everyday lives.
The course content will be negotiated to meet your needs and could include some of the following:
Repeat Patterns and Tessellation
Stamps and Surfaces
Card & Stationary Design Printing
T-Shirt & Clothing Design Printing
Who is this course for
This course is aimed at learners of all abilities and levels of skill and experience, whether you practice creative art and design professionally, for leisure, or are looking for a structured starting point. No prior experience or qualification is necessary and your needs will be fully supported in the workshop. Individual learning aims for recording your progress will be agreed with the tutor.
What can I do after this course
