Course Aims
During this six-week course, you will practice meditation and breathing techniques, to have the opportunity to identify the benefits, both to your emotional wellbeing and overall health.

Course Content
Each week you will:
- Participate in guided meditation
- Learn about mantras and mudras
- Learn the benefits of utilising the breath – progressing each week
- Learn the benefits of relaxation on the nervous/immune system
- Journal your journey
Some of the overall benefits you can expect to experience from this course are:
- Improved breathing and breath control
- Enhanced mindfulness
- Stress management
- Sense of community
What You Will Need
- Comfy clothing – layers are best as you will heat up and cool down quickly after your session
- Bottle of water
- Light snack – cereal bar / fruit
Yoga mats, blocks and blankets will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
Assessment Method
This is a RARPA based course, assessment is carried out though building of a portfolio and taking part within tasks matched to the individual’s personal targets.
RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications.
