Course Aims
Would you like to improve your knowledge of the Spanish language?
This improvers course is ideal for people who want to enhance their reading, writing, speaking and listening in Spanish.
All learning materials are delivered entirely online and there is formal online tuition for this course. You are required to attend at the course time and for the duration of the lesson.
Entry Requirements
You must have previous experience of learning Spanish and some understanding of Spanish grammar, such as conjugations of the present tense and some vocabulary knowledge.
ICT requirements
You will need broadband internet access and a desktop or laptop computer with an up-to-date version of Windows to access Teams which is an element of Microsoft office for online delivery. Use of mobile phone is not appropriate.

Course Content
The skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing with lots of opportunities to practice the language and build confidence in speaking in Spanish through dialogue practice.
You will develop the listening skills needed to understand what people say at their natural speed.
You will focus on improving your reading skills by learning strategies to understand the meaning of text effectively and you will learn a large range of vocabulary as well as grammar that will enhance your writing skills.
Assessment Method
This is a non-accredited course with no exam at the end, but the tutor will monitor progress and give feedback and you will be expected to complete a ‘weekly record of your learning’.
