This qualification aims to improve your understanding of stress. You will look at the causes of stress and the effects stress can have on health. You will also learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of stress and look at ways of preventing or reducing stress.

During this 12-week course you will complete the following units:
- Understand what is meant by stress
- Know the effects of stress
- Understand possible causes of stress
- Understand how to recognise stress
- Know ways to prevent and reduce the effects of stress
To achieve the Level 1 Award in Stress Awareness, you must demonstrate successfully your achievement of all learning outcomes and assessment criteria detailed in the qualification specification. Grades are not awarded.
The mandatory unit will be internally assessed using a Candidate Workbook covering all the learning outcomes of the qualification.
