Course Aims

Come along to the Pottery Throwdown – have a go at the pottery wheel.

This course is suitable for children aged 3 years and over.  All children must be accompanied by an adult (a maximum of two children per adult) who will be responsible for supervising their children at all times.

Course Content

Have you always fancied a go on a pottery wheel? Did the Great Pottery Throw Down tempt you into releasing your inner potter? In that case you will love this workshop.

You will learn how to safely use a pottery wheel, enabling you to practise making cylinders and bowls on a pottery wheel.

Assessment Method

This is a non-accredited course. Learner work towards individual targets and goals.

This course has direct links to accredited the functional skills qualifications and other suitable English qualifications, your tutor or our in-house careers adviser can help with this.
