If you are undecided about which direction to go in, our occupational studies course could be the perfect solution. It is tailor-made for you and gives you the opportunity to choose up to three career pathways. By doing this, you will get the chance to try out different careers to help you to make your future choices. This means you will have a better understanding of what jobs in a particular sector would be like. We have lots of options available including:

What will you learn?
We will help you get ready for work and teach you the basic skills that employers are looking for. We will also spend time in getting you a top notch CV and give you hints and tips for finding and securing jobs. You will continue to study English and maths.
Getting ready for work is really important and so we will find you a work experience placement with a local employer to help prepare you for the world of work.
There will also be a chance to get involved in enterprise projects. The projects are a fun way of developing skills such as team work, communication, creativity and innovation, problem solving and much more.
You will meet guest speakers and to take part in off-site visits. At the end of the year, all the skills you have learnt will be put into practice to develop, organise and deliver a community event.
