How to apply
For information on how to apply, please call 01482 615 349 / 616 580 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
This is a classroom-based, workshop-style, learning experience.
Using your chosen items, we will learn how to create unique, planet-friendly wrapping.
Tutor demonstration, advice, guidance and practical support will be given throughout the session.
Please bring with you Christmas themed and/or festive coloured fabrics. Scraps of fabric will be used to make wrapping, you may wish to bring larger pieces for the bags.
There are sewing machines and some sewing equipment, for example scissors, pins, etc. for your use at the centre. However, you may wish to bring your own sewing tools and equipment. If you wish to bring your own sewing machinery and is more than 1 year old, it must hold a current PAT test certificate. The tutor will need to see evidence of this before it can be used.
This course uses RARPA as its method of assessment.
RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five-stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance.
