Course Content

Babies use all kinds of signs and gestures as a natural part of learning to talk. Baby signing with Sing and Sign is easy because we make it fun to learn! Your baby will recognise important words sooner and can use the signs to “talk” to you before speech.

Learn the signs and nursery rhymes and reap the benefits of:

  • Helping to understand your baby’s needs, thoughts and ideas
  • Reducing frustration (for baby and parent!)
  • Enhancing early vocabulary and understanding
  • Encouraging the development of speech
  • Enriching your baby’s relationships
  • Building confidence and self-esteem
  • Stimulating your baby’s intellectual and emotional development

Assessment Method

This course uses RARPA as its method of assessment.

RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance
