To use folded book art to produce an angel or Christmas tree and also produce a large decorative star using paper cutting/folding techniques.
To improve learner’s health and wellbeing by engaging them in learning new skills and encouraging the build up of relationships in the class
There are no entry requirements but learners should be able to measure accurately in centimetres/millimetres
For the course you will need to provide :-
- a book- preferably paperback with at least 160 pages
If you wish to make the star all paper products will be provided.

This course will introduce you to the basics of folded book art to produce a simple, but effective angel or Christmas tree.
You will also produce a large Christmas star decoration using cut and folded paper.
This course uses RARPA as its method of assessment.
RARPA stands for Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement which is the process of assessment for non-accredited learning. It is a means of validating the outcomes of programmes which do not result in qualifications. RARPA is a five stage process which measures and records learners’ progress, achievements and attendance.

This session will help to build your skills and confidence to progress to further Hull Training and Adult Education courses either online or classroom based.
