Course Aims
This 6-week online course aims to improve your own understanding, knowledge and skills in how to identify and support positive mental health lifestyles for you and your family.

Course Content
This interactive online course will introduce and explore ideas about Mental Health:
- What is mental health?
- Signs & symptoms of mental illness
- Strategies to support positive mental health
Assessment Method
Evidence of achievement is by creating a portfolio of evidence
Where can it lead?
Progression on to Functional Skills maths and English or accredited mental health course.
This course has links to childcare, education, psychology careers or courses.
You could progress on to courses such as:
- Functional Skills English
- Functional Skills Maths
This course/qualification would be useful in the following roles;
- Lunchtime Supervisor
- Teaching Assistant
