Hull Training and Adult Education Service believes that all members of staff and all our learners have an important role to play in safeguarding the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and preventing abuse or bullying.
We want you to feel safe, wherever you are learning and we have a system in place to support you if you are feeling unsafe, or if you have concerns about someone else.
There is a Designated Safeguarding Lead at each centre to offer support to you, whether you feel you are a victim of abuse or bullying, have witnessed abuse or bullying or whether you are worried about someone else.
The Designated Safeguarding Lead is there to support you. It doesn’t matter if the incident you are worried about:
- took place on service premises
- took place outside the service or via electronic equipment
- involved another member of staff, a learner or a volunteer
